- 100% matka silk, hand-spun from pierced cocoons
- Natural slubs through warp and weft. Every length is different
- Saree 5.5 m, blouse piece 0.8 m, width 44 in

Weave and origin
- Woven in Malda, West Bengal
- Loom time: 9 days
- Colour as photographed: Sindoor red. Handloom and natural dyes vary a little from length to length
- Each saree carries the Handloom Mark and a card signed by the weaver
