- 100% cotton, 100s count warp and weft
- Extra-weft jamdani butis laid in by hand
- Saree 5.5 m, blouse piece 0.8 m, width 46 in
- Weight 380 g. Soft, with a dry hand
Weave and origin
- Woven in Phulia, Nadia, West Bengal
- Loom time: 21 days on a single pit loom
- Colour as photographed: Kalo, black with bone. Handloom and natural dyes vary a little from length to length
- Each saree carries the Handloom Mark and a card signed by the weaver
Care
- Dry clean for the first three washes
- After that, cold hand wash with mild soap, dry in shade
- Iron on the reverse, medium heat
